About Michael Gaspari
Michael Gaspari is a composer, film scorer, arranger, producer, keyboardist, and teacher. He completed his Masters at the University of Miami Frost School of Music in the Media Scoring and Production Program, and completed my bachelors in music as a Composition and TIMARA (Technology in Music and Related Arts) double major at Oberlin College and Conservatory. Before Oberlin, he graduated from the Juilliard Pre-College program in Composition.
Michael have released four albums and two singles that range in genre diversity onto all streaming platforms. One of these is a concept album called "On the Bridge" diving into his life growing up as an autistic person in a world not built for disabled people. His most recent release was a Christmas album consisting of a theme and variations of an original Christmas melody sonically set in his personal interpretation of the holiday season in the early 2000's.
Michael’s teaching philosophy is driven by promoting accessibility for neurodivergent identities in music education. His self-built teaching program Noise and Buttons aims to allow anyone to learn music with sensory-friendly interfaces and teaching methods. In addition, Michael has written music for film, tv, large ensembles, live electronics, installations, and electroacoustic spaces. His compositional style is driven by experimentation with sound and synthesizers, sonic environments, extended performance techniques, DSP programming, film scoring, and songwriting. Ultimately, Michael aims to use his music and teaching to make the music industry more accommodating and accepting of the neurodivergent community.
Composer
Michael started his composition journey at the Juilliard Pre-College program, and since then, he has composed in a plethora of different mediums. His music has experimented with a mixing his classical and jazz roots with progressive rock, singer/songwriter, and electronic music genres. Michael’s largest collection of works comprises of 4 full-length albums that range in different styles. Film Scorer
Michael is a working film and television composer writing for a variety of media in all different genres. Studying with Grammy Award winning film composer Carlos Rafael Rivera, Michael strives for a unique and professional sound for every project he works on while ultimately meeting the vision of the director.
In 2023, Michael collaborated with fellow film composers from the Frost School of Music on the thriller Art of Diversion, directed by Gabriele Altobelli, available on Amazon Prime. He has also scored for award winning short films, getting screening at festivals such as the Miami Film Festival. His most recent scoring project was working on the acclaimed PBS television show The Voice Inside, written and directed by Gena Sims from the Autism Theater Project.

Arranger
Michael has worked on various arrangement projects throughout his career ranging through multiple genres. One of these projects is Mario Kart Live Miami in collaboration with Izzi Guzman and G.G. Producer
Michael is an avid music producer working on projects for himself and various artists around the Miami area. His production style is focused on exploration of synthesizers and crafting unique found sounds into new sonic experiences. Driven by a vast electronic and fixed media background. Michael can create a production for your project that will fit your artistic needs while also providing something fresh and bold.
Keyboardist
At the core of Michael’s musical background is his love for performance. Michael began piano lessons at the age of 5, and continued on this track while discovering his love for playing keyboard instruments beyond just piano. These include electric piano, organ, clavichord, and synthesizer. Michael strives to treat these sounds as their own by adapting his playing technique and style to fit each.
Currently, Michael is part of various musical ensembles based in Miami through G.G. Music Studios. The first is the G.G. Duo in collaboration with Izzi Guzman. The second is the funk/r&b G.G. Quartet. The largest of these ensembles is the Mario Kart Live band, which has previously performed for MegaCon Orlando 2026. Michael is also a resident musician for Wild Bloom Poetry based in Fort Lauderdale, and the Autism Theater Project based in Miami.
Educator
Michael’s proudest endeavor is his work in music education. Throughout his higher education journey, Michael has taught and tutored students in advanced music theory and ear training. This translated into a teaching assistantship, which became his current role as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Michael now co-owns G.G. Music Studios which provided fun accessible private lesson for student in the Miami area and/or remotely.
